The annual Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling event didn't disappoint.

Watch all the thrills and spills as hundreds of hopeful contestants hurl themselves down a hill in the hope of winning some cheese at one of the UK's wackiest sports.

Footage captured on May 26 at Cooper's Hill, Gloucestershire, shows the moment competitors launched themselves down the hill risking serious injuries.

Cheese rolling is rumoured to be around 600 years old with the first mention of the bizarre sport found in 1826.

The prize is a huge wheel of double Gloucester cheese and is given to whoever reaches the bottom of the hill first.
