Crazy weather at Universal Studios - flip flops came off and went floating, them puddles weren’t messing
It was the evening of May 27, 2025, and the weather at Universal Studios turned absolutely insane. The skies, which had been cloudy all day, opened up with a torrential downpour that quickly flooded the entire park. Rain fell so fast and hard that it wasn’t long before the ground was covered in ankle-deep water. Puddles weren’t just puddles—they were more like mini lakes. My flip-flops came off my feet and floated away in the swirling water, bobbing up and down like tiny boats caught in a storm.
Thunder rolled so loudly it felt like the ground itself was shaking, and bolts of lightning slashed through the dark sky, illuminating everything in eerie, jagged flashes. People were sprinting in every direction, desperate to find shelter from the storm. Some were laughing nervously, others screaming in surprise, as the wind whipped rain sideways and everyone got drenched in seconds. The park’s familiar sights and sounds were almost drowned out by the roar of the storm and the sharp cracks of thunder. It felt like the entire park had been transformed into a wild, chaotic scene straight out of a movie.
