Recently, at a steel drum factory in Binzhou, Shandong Province, a worker named Mr. Song has gone viral online for his incredible "barrel-flinging" skills.

Using only the strength of his arms, Mr. Song can control the heavy steel drums with remarkable precision, making them land exactly where he wants. He skilfully hurls 200-litre, 20-kilogram steel barrels — each about a metre tall — more than 20 metre across the factory floor. The barrels glide along the ground in graceful arcs, as if they had legs, landing neatly in place without tipping over or colliding.

Mr. Song explained that he has been doing this job since 2006, moving over 1,000 barrels a day. With time, he learned just how much force to apply and from what angle to throw the barrel so it would land exactly as intended. “There’s no secret,” he said. “It just comes from lots of practice — skill comes with experience.”
