This is the amusing moment newlyweds and their guests leapt into a swimming pool fully clothed.

Vincent Antonio and Ruby Tequin, along with their teammates from the Aqua Fortis Dragon Boat Team, marked their intimate wedding reception with a ceremonial dip in Rizal, the Philippines.

Footage shows the couple, still in their wedding attire, jumping into the pool together, followed by their colleagues on April 23.

The guests can be seen diving in one by one while others cheer and applaud from the poolside.

Ruby said: 'My husband and I are both dragon boat athletes, and the people who jumped in with us were our teammates.

'Our team has a tradition of dipping newbies in Manila Bay as a welcome ritual. So, we decided to replicate that at our wedding as a symbol of entering married life together.

'It may look fun and lighthearted, but it was actually meaningful to us, especially since the team planned to join us in the dip without telling us beforehand. It was a beautiful surprise.'
