Organized under the slogan "Red Line for Gaza," the rally transformed Groenplaats square into a sea of red, symbolizing resistance against Israeli military actions and calling for an end to Belgium’s support for Israel. Protesters demanded immediate international intervention to halt the violence in Gaza and criticized the Belgian government for its political and military ties with Israel. Signs reading "Stop the Genocide" and "Free Palestine" were held aloft as chants echoed through the city center. The demonstration also highlighted the presence of around 200 Belgian activists currently in Cairo, preparing to join an international solidarity march toward Gaza. Organizers emphasized that the growing mobilization reflects increasing public pressure on European governments to take a stronger stance against the conflict.
