Los Angeles, United States - June 21, 2025 06/20/2025 08:20 pm GMT-0700 LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department officers from Rampart and Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to an assault call of a security guard in the 1600 block of Wilshire Boulevard around 8:20 p.m. Friday. Per witnesses and Panda Express staff, a male who is experiencing homelessness and is known in the area for his behavior, came into their restaurant and was escorted out by the security guard to the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and South Union Avenue when he allegedly struck the security guard on the face with his skateboard and fled the scene. Witnesses rushed to help the security guard, who had suffered lacerations to his face, until LAPD officers arrived. LAFD personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital due to his injuries.
