Israeli military spokesperson Brigadier General Effie Defrin stated that the ceasefire was implemented under the directive of the political leadership, marking the end of Operation Rising Lion. However, he emphasized that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) remain on high alert to respond to any violations.
