Motorsport fanatic drives his F1 car across front lawn
This is the amusing moment a motorsport fanatic took his Formula 1 car for a spin right across his front lawn.
Frederic Laneshoa, a passionate racecar fan from Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes in France, was spotted driving his F1 car around his home and through the nearby neighbourhood.
Footage shows the car enthusiast revving the engine and manoeuvring through the streets near a local park, drawing curious looks from onlookers with his unusual ride on June 24.
Frederic finds abandoned and old Formula 1 race cars and painstakingly restores them, reviving these remarkable machines to their original condition.
Recently, he shared that he purchased a neglected Formula 1 car from the 1980s from a friend.
The vehicle was said to be in terrible condition, covered in thick dust and patches of mould after years of abandonment. With meticulous care, he completely overhauled it, restoring the car to look and run like new.
Formula 1 cars rank among the fastest and most technologically advanced racing vehicles worldwide. The sport began in the early 1950s and has since grown into a global spectacle celebrated for its cutting-edge engineering and fierce competition.
The cars can reach speeds beyond 220 mph (approximately 354 km/h) and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2 to 3 seconds.
