Actress Rachel Zegler fine tunes her performance as Argentina's former first lady Eva Peron, in Jamie Lloyds Evita, ahead of the official opening night on the 1st July.

The footage filmed on the 26th and 28th June sees the Snow White star on the balcony of the London Palladium theatre as she belts out, 'Don't Cry for me Argentina to the ensemble cast positioned outside, and the crowd of around 500 members of the public during each perfomance, some of whom have waited for over an hour to experience this unique scene.

The scene has drawn praise and criticism, after some patrons remarked they could only view the section of her perfomance on a digital screen, whereas others liked enjoyed the unconventional approach based upon the real Eva Peron addressing political supporters in a speech from the Presidential Palace.

It was reported that Ms. Zegler broke out in tears after a standing ovation after her Saturday night performance.
