The fire is making a push toward Highway 243, prompting crews to conduct a firing operation along the highway in an attempt to gain control of the blaze. Reports of a drone in the area have forced all aircraft to land, and it remains unclear if the drone and its operator have been located. The fire was last mapped at 1,164.9 acres and there is currently no containment. It is also unclear if there are any injuries or if any structures have been affected by the fire.
