Storyline: Drones cut costs of transporting bamboo in E China [Voice_over] In the skies above the rolling mountains of east China's Le'an County, drones can be seen shuttling gigantic pieces of bamboo out of the forests. As part of the region's low-altitude economy, drones are being used to deliver the wood from deep within the forest to a loading zone where trucks are waiting to take it away. One drone operator said thanks to the drones, the entire job can be completed with just three workers. [Sound_bite] Liao Weizhen, drone operator: "Our team has three members. I oversee drone operations. Carrying charges of one ton of bamboos are 27 U.S. dollars. Excepting costs, (farmers) can earn about 13 dollars." [Restrictions : No access Chinese mainland]
