INJURED CHILDREN LYING ON GROUNDGAZA, PALESTINE - JULY 7: At least three Palestinians were killed and numerous others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the northern ed-Derec neighborhood of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian health officials said on Monday, July 7. The attack targeted a group of Palestinians near a food stall in a residential area, according to witnesses. The wounded were taken to the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, where medical staff provided emergency treatment. Several children were reported to be among the injured, some in critical condition. Despite international calls for a ceasefire, Israel has pursued a genocidal war on Gaza, killing more than 57,500 Palestinians, most of them women and children, since October 2023. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
