Jeremy Clarkson is finally serving ketchup in his pub - after a firm created a completely British-made variety.

The TV star has so far refused to provide red sauce at The Farmer's Dog - because all produce there must be made with UK ingredients.

But now it's on the menu after sauce company Condimaniac created a completely British ketchup.

Co-founders Kier Kemp and Jennifer Dreier have masterminded a homegrown product which is entirely British.

Having been inspired by a sign at the pub, Condimaniac delivered a batch of the sauce to the Farmer's Dog.

Shown in a video on the brand's Instagram page, customers at the pub tried the ketchup and remarked how "amazing" it tasted."

"I am not having Heinz again, that is for sure," one said."

A staff member at the Farmers Puppy, which is located on the grounds of the pub by the Grand Tour tent, also gave credit for the sauce.

Condimaniac's meeting with manager Annie went well too, as she agreed to sell the ketchup at wholesale at their on-site butchers as well as at the Farmer's Puppy.

Mr Kemp said: 'It is not just a gimmick for them, they do really live and breathe this 100 per cent British thing.

"[They're the] best wholesale clients I have ever dealt with. Everyone I have met is super lovely."

"I am glad that I can report they are actually nice people. It is not always like that."

A sign near the pub's entrance read: "Everything we cook, serve and sell is grown or raised or produced in Great Britain - even the salt and pepper."

"This means we don't serve Coca-Cola or ketchup. #BackBritishFarming."

The 100 per cent British ketchup is available to buy via the official Condimaniac website, but it is currently sold out.
