Saint-Tropez, France - July 10, 2025 A fire broke out on the 41.25-metre superyacht Sea Lady II on Thursday evening in the Port de Saint-Tropez. Video shared by X user @rebec34 shows the yacht burning. Smoke was first reported shortly after 20:00. The flames began in the bow area and then spread to the lower decks of the yacht, which was previously known as D'Angleterre II. Two crew members, aged 24 and 35, were rescued. Both are reported to be suffering from smoke inhalation. Firefighters brought the worst of the fire under control by midnight, but said they had difficulties boarding the yacht. A fire department spokesperson confirmed that nearby yachts were moved away and anti-pollution barriers were set up. Sea Lady II was delivered in 1986 by W.A. Souter & Sons. The design was created by Don Shead Yacht Design, with interiors by Frédéric Mechiche. The yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests in five staterooms. It is unknown if anyone else was on board at the time of the fire. The vessel has an aluminium hull and superstructure, and is powered by twin Caterpillar engines. It has a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 16 knots.
