After a decade of intermittent pole training, Mama Kilo finally hit record to capture a new move she’d been practicing and ended up documenting her first-ever fall.

She had landed the move several times before, but during filming, her foot slipped mid-execution and she hit the ground. The moment was so unexpected, she could only react with a stunned “Wow,” capturing the raw honesty of a seasoned dancer facing a rare misstep.

I taught myself a new pole move and landed in a few times before I decided to actually take the camera out and record. To my surprise, my foot slips and I hit the ground. This was my first fall in the 10 years I’ve been intermittently learning pole. It was shocking, I couldn’t say anything but wow.
