VARIOUS OF PALESTINIANS CARRYING BODY OF 16-YEAR-OLD PALESTINIAN BOY SHOT DEAD BY ISRAELI FORCES AMID CHANTS, SLOGANS IN WEST BANK CITY OF JENINJENIN, WEST BANK, PALESTINE - JULY 23, 2025: A funeral was held on Wednesday, July 23, for a 16-year-old Palestinian boy who was fatally shot by Israeli forces during a military raid in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin. According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli troops opened fire during a raid on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, on Tuesday, striking Ibrahim Majid Ali Nasr in the chest. Nasr, who was reportedly targeted while walking in the street, was transferred to a hospital in Jenin where he succumbed to his injuries despite medical efforts. During the funeral procession, mourners carried Nasr’s body and chanted slogans condemning the Israeli military’s genocidal actions. Since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, nearly 1,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 7,000 injured in the West Bank by Israeli forces and illegal settlers, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. In a landmark opinion last July, the International Court of Justice declared Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
