VARIOUS OF PEOPLE WALKING WITH FLOUR SACKS AS SUNSETS GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JULY 23, 2025: Dozens of Palestinians in central Gaza were seen walking long distances to reach an aid distribution center in hopes of receiving limited supplies of flour, delivered via the Netzarim Corridor on Wednesday, July 23.

The aid, consisting of small quantities of essential goods, drew large crowds to the distribution points.

Footage from the scene shows long lines and overcrowded conditions as people—many barefoot or with children in tow—waited for hours to collect what little was available.

Since March 2, Israel has enforced a total blockade on Gaza, barring entry of food, medicine and humanitarian aid. Aid agencies have repeatedly warned of a man-made famine, with no sign of easing.

Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has pursued a brutal offensive on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, killing nearly 59,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The relentless bombardment has destroyed the enclave and led to food shortages and a spread of disease.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
