VARIOUS OF PROTESTERS CARRYING BANNERS, BANGING EMPTY POTS AND CHANTING SLOGANS BERLIN, GERMANY - JULY 25: Hundreds of Palestinian supporters in the capital Berlin city of Germany, held a demonstration on Friday (July 25) to draw attention to the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which has been exacerbated by Israel's ongoing military offensive and blockade restricting aid access. Hundreds of people gathered in the Tiergarten district, on Sigismund Street near the Egyptian Embassy in Berlin and the Defense Ministry of Germany. They carried banners saying “Stop genocide”, banged empty pots and chanted slogans. Since October 2023, Israel has killed more than 59,700 Palestinians -- most of them women and children -- in the Gaza Strip. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, collapsed its health system, and caused widespread hunger. In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its war on the enclave.
