A nursing home taught pensioners a Speed Stacks game to help improve their brain function.

Footage shows the elderly residents practising their agility by stacking cups and making pyramids on tables and trying to beat each other's record time in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 17.

The record for fastest speed stacker was six seconds, staff said.

Speed stacking, also known as sport stacking, cup stacking, or competitive stacking, is an individual and team sport that involves stacking nine or 12 specially designed cups in pre-determined sequences as quickly as possible.

It improves hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, concentration, cardiovascular health, and mental toughness, as it requires swift and precise movements.
