Barbara pulled off the ultimate holiday surprise when she brought her two teenage daughters to the Henn na Maihama Hotel, known for its animatronic dinosaur receptionists, without revealing details. After a long flight to Tokyo Disneyland for Christmas, the family arrived at the hotel around 11 p.m., with Barbara pretending they were late for check-in to nudge her daughters inside first.

Two towering robot dinosaurs greeted them behind the front desk, blinking and speaking in multiple languages. The teens’ stunned reactions were caught on video and posted to TikTok, where they quickly racked up 2 million views.
