I thought you might enjoy a unique and humorous piece of wildlife footage I captured at my home in Travelers Rest, South Carolina on July 15, 2025.

Our backyard bird feeder camera caught a black bear standing up, bending the feeder pole completely down, and letting the seed pour straight into his mouth—like a real-life buffet line! He then calmly cleaned up the mess and wandered off across the street into our neighborhood. We’ve got three short clips totaling about 45 seconds, and the footage is crystal clear.

The video sparked a big reaction in our local community. My young grandson was the first to notice and exclaimed, “He has BIG claws!”—which made the moment even more memorable.

This is original, family-friendly, daylight footage of a wild animal behaving in an almost human way. I’d be happy to provide high-resolution files and can confirm I own the rights to the video.
