[Voiceover] Ever see a robo-dog play fetch? That's what a group of software engineers in east China's Suzhou City are working on: a robotic dog that can think for itself. Within the city, Wuzhong District has become home to many start-ups like the one developing the robo-dog, but also to a host of other firms that create tech for embodied AI robots. From sensors to actuator motors to reducers, leading suppliers are set up in Wuzhong District, which has created a full embodied robot industrial chain. Engineers making the robo dogs say the machines have been programmed to chase a ball and push it back to the person who kicked it, in an agile manner. Most importantly, developers say, the robo dog uses perception to move around on its own, rather than by remote control. And once the company decides to mass produce their smart AI robo-dog, it can be done in the very same location, which will reduce production costs and improve competitiveness.
