This is the moment a teen went full kung fu master - on a moth.

Jay Smeekes, 16, was outside his house in Amersfoort, Netherlands, when a rogue moth suddenly flew into his face.

Doorbell footage shows Jay flailing his arms, striking a dramatic kung fu pose to shoo the moth away.

Jay first appeared to be putting on a show but when the insect came back for a round two, he panicked and ran before tripping and falling on the ground.

Jay, from Amersfoort, the Netherlands said: "At first I was just acting."

"But when it came back i actually got scared ran away and fell down. "

"No one was around to see it happen, but I watched it back later inside the house with my parents to see their reaction."
