Only 674 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip in the past eight days since Israel eased restrictions on July 27, according to a statement from the Hamas-run Gaza Government Media Office on Monday. An average of only 84 aid trucks entered Gaza each day, whereas approximately 4,800 trucks were expected to enter over the eight-day period. The office emphasized that the Gaza Strip requires at least 600 trucks of aid and fuel supplies every day to meet the minimum needs of the local health, services, and food sectors. According to data released by the World Health Organization on July 27, over 5,000 children under five in the Gaza Strip received outpatient treatment for malnutrition in the first two weeks of July. This year, the Gaza Strip has reported a total of 74 deaths related to malnutrition, with 63 of those occurring in July.
