An Israeli airstrike launched Tuesday against a UN clinic-turned shelter in Sheikh Radwan, northern Gaza has further worsened the hardships faced by displaced Palestinians, leaving hundreds of them without shelter. The clinic was previously run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and it has turned into a shelter now. The shelter came under heavy bombardment overnight after the Israeli military issued a warning, urging the hundreds of displaced Palestinians sheltering there to evacuate immediately. Palestinians have voiced their outrage and distress, saying the Israeli strikes in Gaza have not only cut off their access to medical services, but also deprived them of a place to live. "The entire Sheikh Radwan area relied on this clinic. They destroyed us by targeting it. Now, where will we get medicine? They don't provide it," said Khamis Al-Anani, a displaced Palestinian. "The place is destroyed. I used to use it as a shelter, and now I don't have any shelter. We don't even have any food or water. The place we once relied on for safety is now in ruins," said Dina Badra, another displaced resident. "These were destructive missiles that hit here, and explosive barrels that completely destroyed the building.
