Aerial Views of Gifford Fire Show Widely Burning Area 2
The Gifford Fire is threatening more than 870 remote homes at the northern edge of Los Padres National Forest. The wildfire, which is burning in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties, has already charred over 91,000 acres and is only 9% contained as of Wednesday afternoon. The videos show aerial images of the fire taken from Alaska Air flight 3356.
