The day after her wedding at the Grand Cascades Lodge, TikTok creator Jackie captured a moment no one saw coming: her father, who knows how to swim, nearly drowned in two feet of water after coming down a slide at the resort’s pool.

In the video, which has now garnered over 3 million views, Jackie’s dad is seen struggling to regain his footing after splashing into the shallow end. At first, the family laughs, unaware of the seriousness, until a fully clothed lifeguard jumps in to rescue him. In the chaos, the man flails his arms and accidentally hits the lifeguard in the face, prompting her to sit out with an ice pack for the next hour.
