A group of mice were caught feasting on a Twix bar on the shelf of a 7-Eleven store.

Shannon Rafter, 20, was grabbing a drink at the shop on Granville Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, when she spotted the rodents enjoying a late-night snack.

Shocking footage shows the small mice clustered around a Twix bar on the bottom shelf.

Shannon said she was "disgusted" by the scene, especially as she had just bought a Slurpee and reported the rodent problem to a member of staff."

she said: "I'm aware of the rodent problems in Vancouver, but I didn't expect to see three piled up on a Twix bar inside a convenience store."

"I don't know how the mice got in but they probably snuck in while the doors were open."

"You can hear in the video that I was pretty freaked out, along with my friends Jade, Mira, and Brayden."

"We felt the employees knew, as they were mopping around the area where the mice were, and they could see us filming and reacting."
