Justin Bieber impersonator fools Las Vegas club to get VIP table
A Justin Bieber impersonator fooled hundreds at Las Vegas club - even performing on stage before being discovered and escorted out.
The incident unfolded on Saturday night, August 16, at XS Nightclub inside the Wynn Hotel, where the fake Bieber fooled staff and patrons alike during a packed evening featuring DJ Griffin.
He secured a VIP table behind the DJ booth, complete with fake entourage and security, convincing clubgoers and staff alike.
Guests noticed subtle flaws, like faded tattoos, but the ruse reached its peak when he appeared alongside DJ Griffin.
Security quietly escorted him out after management was tipped off, leaving onlookers amazed at the elaborate deception.
Andrea Fierro, 33, a marketing manager from Houston, Texas, was partying at the club with friends when their bottle service waitress delivered shocking news.
"The bottle girl told us, 'Hey, Justin Bieber's here tonight. So you guys got married on a really good night that you're celebrating here at the same time as Justin Bieber,'" Fierro said. "
"And we were like, oh, what?"
The impersonator had secured a premium table in XS's exclusive VIP area behind the DJ booth, a section requiring either a $10k minimum spend or special connections to access.
Fierro, whose party had a table in the same restricted area, had an up-close view of the deception.
"He had his sunglasses on, and I have really close-ups of his face. He even has the long neck tattoo that Justin Bieber has," she said. "
"All of his tattoos literally look the same as Justin Bieber's."
However, Fierro, who filmed videos of the incident, noticed telltale signs that something was amiss.
"If you're a true Bieber fan, you know his tattoos stay fresh. This impersonator's tattoos were pretty faded," she said, noting he "didn't seem as ripped" as the actual superstar."
The fake Bieber arrived with an entourage and what appeared to be a security detail, adding to the authenticity of the performance.
XS security guards surrounded his table, treating him like a real celebrity.
"There were bodyguards all surrounding the table," Fierro said. "
"These were actually XS security guards, so they were fooled just like the rest of us were."
The impersonator's companions didn't fit the typical Hollywood mold, which Fierro found curious.
"The people he was with didn't look Hollywood at all," she said. "
"They looked like a bunch of Gen Zs, and they obviously had money to pay the $10k bill that they racked up."
The ruse reached its peak when the impersonator took the stage to perform alongside DJ Griffin.
Clubgoers in the general admission area, once they spotted the supposed superstar, began filming and screaming.
"Everyone knew that at the time, that was Justin Bieber," Fierro said. "
"He had the sunglasses on. He had the same beard trimming, down to the tattoos."
The deception eventually unraveled when someone tipped off club management.
Rather than a dramatic confrontation, security quietly asked the group to settle their bill and leave.
"They just kindly asked him to pay for his bill, and then security escorted him off stage," Fierro said. "
"They didn't grab him or arrest him, but they were just like, 'You guys are done. You all have to leave.'"
Even during his exit, the impersonator maintained character.
"He was still impersonating Bieber. He had his hood up, his shades on, and he was just looking down," Fierro said."
The incident left Fierro questioning the impersonator's behavior with female clubgoers, which seemed inconsistent with the real Bieber's married status.
Her confusion was cleared up the following day when photos surfaced showing the real Justin Bieber dining with his wife, Hailey, that same evening.
Reflecting on the elaborate deception that fooled an entire nightclub, Fierro said: "I just think that was so funny."
