Wedding organisers were forced to take swift action after pole dancers set up just metres from a ceremony.

Kaylee Boots Lautz, 25, was preparing to marry high school sweetheart Garreth, 26, on August 9 when the dancers started practising just meters from the altar.

Luckily wedding coordinators at the venue – The Dana On Mission Day, San Diego, California - "kindly asked" the dancers to move from the public walkway before the ceremony with 150 guests started and they obliged. "

Seeing the funny side of the bizarre situation, Kaylee said she "wished" they were able to invite the dancers to the reception but was glad to not have been told about the potential mishap as she "would have been stressed". "

Kaylee, a registered nurse, from Los Angeles, California, US, said: "I actually had no idea that they were doing their pole dancing class or filming. "

"At first everyone was just laughing and taking videos but then my coordinators started getting a little nervous. "

"After the ceremony they told me they were there and I thought it was hilarious and was grateful they moved. "

"Where I got married is a resort but the ceremony site does have a public walkway, everything is public behind it. "

"I don't know if they were doing a class or just practising or making videos for online purposes but anyone can technically be there, so they didn't have to move. "

"I wish we could have invited the pole dancers to the reception but I didn't know they were out there". "

Kaylee and Garreth have been together over 10 years after they starting dating during their sophomore year of high school.

"We did long distance in college and came back to our hometown and have been together eve since. "

"He [Garreth] actually had a room and was getting ready in front of the ceremony site so he and all his groomsmen saw what was happening and thought it was funny. "

"They came up with a plan that if they didn't move to have one of the groomsmen go and ask them to. "

"I think he didn't want me to find out either and I probably would have been stressed so I'm glad nobody told me"."
