Unfortunately, in this incident, six members of our fellow countryman’s family were injured, including one woman and five children, and their house has been completely destroyed. The health condition of the injured is now stable. As for the target of this drone attack and the reasoning behind it, that will become clear later." 5. VARIOUS OF HOUSES DAMAGED BY PAKISTANI DRONE STRIKESNANGARHAR, AFGHANISTAN - AUG. 28: The Taliban government said on Wednesday, Aug. 27, that drone strikes hit residential areas in eastern Afghanistan, causing civilian casualties and property damage. According to officials, houses were struck in Nangarhar and Khost provinces near the border with Pakistan. Women and children were reported among the victims. On Thursday, Aug. 28, Taliban officials inspected the areas that were heavily damaged in the Pakistani drone strikes. The Taliban foreign ministry described the attacks as a violation of Afghan airspace. Pakistan has not yet claimed responsibility for the Wednesday evening strikes. However, in the past, the country has repeatedly targeted alleged hideouts of Pakistani militants inside Afghanistan.
