GRIEF OF PALESTINIANS WHO LOST THEIR LOVED ONESGAZA, PALESTINE - SEPTEMBER 1: As part of its intensified attacks in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army carried out an airstrike on a house near the Al-Shati Refugee Camp in western Gaza City on Monday, Sept. 1. The strike killed a pregnant woman, her unborn baby, and a child, while injuring numerous others. The bodies of the victims were transferred to al-Shifa Hospital in the city. Palestinians who lost their relatives expressed deep grief. Israel has killed over 63,500 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
