According to Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban spokesperson, the majority of the casualties are from Kunar province. In Nangarhar, 12 people have died, and 255 are injured.
Laghman and Nuristan have reported 64 injuries, while in Panjshir, five houses were destroyed, but no casualties were reported.
Mujahid stated that the Taliban leadership has ordered all relevant institutions to immediately deploy to the affected areas and utilize all available resources for burying the deceased and treating the injured.
He added that the death toll may rise as some areas, particularly in Kunar, remain inaccessible, and reports from destroyed villages are still coming in.
