Bannu, Pakistan - September 02, 2025 [WARNING: sensitive content] A suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle, after which four to five armed men entered the Frontier Constabulary (FC) camp in Bannu city KP. Heavy exchange of fire is currently underway between the militants and security forces. I have some images of exchange of fire between security personnels and terrorist. Early in the morning, the terrorists were attacked at our Frontier Constabulary and police lines here in Bannu. Initially, they were targeted with VBIDs (Vehicle-Borne Improvised Devices) and suicide blasts. After that, four or five individuals attempted to enter. The operation against them is still ongoing. The police and security forces, along with our CTD (Counter Terrorism Department) officers, are involved, and the joint operation is continuing. Most of the militants have been eliminated or neutralized so far. One or two remain and are still resisting."
