A woman spent over a minute searching for her cat - only to realise it was sat right behind her.

Armonie Lee, 22, was being filmed by her friend Phillip Russell, 35, who quickly noticed she couldn't spot the stealthy feline lounging on the end of the sofa.

In a funny video, Phillip tries to point out where the cat is but a puzzled Armonie is still none the wiser.

At one point, Armonie even thinks she's spotted the moggie in the kitchen, prompting Phillip to burst into laughter.

After a full one minute and 15 seconds of searching, Armonie finally realises the cat is sitting right behind her head.

Phillip, from Tupelo, Mississippi, said: "I thought it was hilarious, so I started recording. "

"She said she felt shocked and thought it was funny but at first she thought we were playing a prank on her!"
