According to the latest data from the China Tea Marketing Association, Guizhou ranks first in China in black tea production. Over the past five years, the value of the region's black tea output has gone up from one billion U.S. dollars to almost three. At one tea processing factory located in the area, workers are filling a new batch of orders destined for the UK. [Sound_bit] Xiong Haihong, tea company representative: "This year's commercial-grade tea has performed quite well, with a high picking rate." [Voice_over] Internationally, Guizhou black tea has become one of the province's major export commodities, recognized for its high quality. [Sound_bite] Hong Jianwei, tea company representative: "We are expecting to export 190 tons this year to Russia, Vietnam, and Malaysia." [Voice_over] Data shows that over the past five years, Guizhou's total black tea production has increased from 48,000 tons to 93,000, marking an average annual growth of over 14 percent.
