This is the dramatic moment Russian police stormed an amateur football match and arrested around 20 immigrant players accused of attacking rivals and spectators.

Footage shows the raid with officers apprehending members of Team Young in the Samara region, central Russia, on August 29.

Police said those found under the influence of drugs or with other violations would face deportation.

The squad members were accused of repeatedly assaulting opponents and fans and of insulting people based on their nationality.

Authorities reported that fans from the same countries as the athletes also took part in the fights during the matches.

In mid-August, Team Young competitors allegedly attacked Estetica's side during a Regular Amateur Football League match.

Afterwards, several team members were suspended by a disciplinary commission.
