VARIOUS OF POLICE ARRESTING PROTESTERSHAIFA, ISRAEL - SEPT. 11, 2025: Demonstrators gathered in the Israeli city of Haifa to protest starvation in Gaza and denounce attacks on journalists by Israeli forces. Dozens of protesters carried banners reading “Children are dying in Gaza, journalists are being targeted,” demanding an end to the humanitarian crisis in the blockaded enclave. Israeli police intervened against some of the demonstrators during the rally. The Israeli army has continued its genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip, killing at least 64,600 Palestinians since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
