Ghaziabad woman dies after rioters torch hotel in Nepal, Kathmandu

55-year-old woman among the injured Indian tourists died due to lack of timely treatment amid Nepal violence. The body of the dead woman was brought to Sonauli border in a Nepali ambulance, causing chaos.

A woman devotee from Ghaziabad died amidst the ongoing violence in Nepal. According to the information, the couple had gone to visit Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu on 7 September. Meanwhile, in the violence that broke out in the capital, the hotel was set on fire by the protesters. To escape the flames, the couple had to jump from the fourth floor. During this, the woman was seriously injured, while the husband and wife got separated in the chaos. The injured woman was admitted to the hospital, where she died during treatment. The family of the deceased was informed about this incident from the relief camp. The husband brought the body of the deceased from Nepal to India and went to his home with the Indian ambulance. After the incident, there is chaos in the family in Ghaziabad.
