A man allegedly under the influence sparked alarm and disbelief after climbing a bald palm tree in Petit Trou, only to fall when the trunk snapped beneath him. The incident, witnessed by stunned onlookers, has since circulated, drawing both concern and commentary.
According to eyewitnesses, the man appeared intoxicated and climbed the tree without warning. Moments later, the brittle trunk gave way, sending him crashing to the ground as bystanders shouted in shock.
