VARIOUS OF CHILDREN WOUNDED IN ISRAELI ATTACKS, SOME COVERED IN BLOOD, BEING BROUGHT TO HOSPITAL AND RECEIVING TREATMENT GAZA, PALESTINE - SEPTEMBER 17, 2025: Israeli genocidal attacks on the Gaza Strip continued unabated on Wednesday, killing at least 64 Palestinians and injuring scores more, medics said. Medical sources told Anadolu that Gaza City hospitals received the bodies of 32 civilians killed by Israeli bombardment of the city. They explained that 23 bodies were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, seven to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital and two to Al-Quds Hospital. In deliberate airstrikes on a home in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, a pregnant woman, her husband, and child were killed, while several others were injured. Footage shows injured children, some covered in blood, receiving medical treatment at Al-Awda Hospital following the attack. On Tuesday, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory confirmed that Israel had committed genocide in Gaza. The commission’s report concluded that Israel committed four out of the five acts of genocide defined in the “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.” It explained that these acts are: killing, causing serious bodily or mental harm, deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the destruction of Palestinians in whole or in part, and imposing measures intended to prevent births. The Israeli army has killed over 65,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable and led to famine and the spread of diseases.
