This is the moment a man came across a tense standoff between a fox and a goose.

Reneo Shehu, 28, was walking home from a friend's house in London on Monday (Sept 15) when he spotted the unusual scene.

He pulled out his phone to capture the face-off on Essex Gardens, Harringay Ladder, London.

A funny video shows Reneo asking a passerby "Did you put them there?"

Reneo, who is from Crouch End, London, said: "I'm not sure whose goose it was or if it was wild."

"I asked someone because I thought it might have been dropped off or something. "

"The standoff lasted about 5–6 seconds once I arrived, but they had been there for at least a minute before that. "

"I was super excited to see wildlife in the middle of London like that!"
