Upon arrival, officers found the man approximately halfway up a large pine tree. For roughly 20 minutes, officers attempted to persuade the man to come down. Eventually, he complied and was taken into custody. The Los Angeles Fire Department was requested at the scene due to concerns that the man might be suffering from a drug overdose.
