Passerby steals Christmas tree from middle of Moscow
A passerby stole a Christmas tree from outside a shop in the heart of Moscow, casually grabbing it and walking away.
Footage shows the thief, dressed in black and wearing a balaclava, walking with a woman when he notices two Christmas trees on December 8.
He approaches one of the trees, takes it, and drags it away, pulling out its lights as he goes. The tree breaks in half due to the weight of its stand.
Local media reports said the incident occurred on Bolshaya Yakimanka Street, just a few blocks from the Kremlin.
It is unclear whether authorities are investigating the theft.
