US, Los Angeles: Vermont-Slauson Large Tree Falls Crushing Pickup Truck
Los Angeles, United States - September 12, 2025 09/11/2025 09:00 pm GMT-0700 VERMONT-SLAUSON, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Division units responded to a scene involving a large tree branch that broke and fell onto a pickup truck. The incident occurred at the intersection of Figueroa Street and 62nd Street, where the fallen tree was blocking all southbound lanes. Officers provided traffic control in the area while street services were requested to remove the debris. A Dodge pickup truck was reported to have been destroyed by the fallen tree, although it remains unclear if any additional vehicles were also under the tree.
