4. FLAGS, BANNERS, AND PLACARDS CARRIED BY PROTESTERS BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA - SEPTEMBER 20: Thousands gathered in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, to show support for former President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.

The demonstration was held in front of Fernandez de Kirchner’s residence at San Jose 1111, where she has been under house arrest for 100 days in connection with the "Vialidad" corruption case.

Protesters, gathered under the slogans “Free Cristina” and “100 Days of Injustice,” were joined by La Campora movement and other Peronist groups.

During the demonstration, Fernandez de Kirchner greeted her supporters from the balcony and joined in the chants calling for her release.

The former president made her longest public appearance since the start of her house arrest, and shortly before the protest, she criticized President Javier Milei’s economic policies on her social media account.

Buenos Aires Governor Axel Kicillof also expressed his support for the former president, highlighting the political implications of her detention.
