20160711 - Super Load moving across Susquehanna River Bridge (Cuts)

This is the cuts video from one of (36) thirty-six 82.5 Ton super loads that will cross the Veterans Memorial Bridge over the Susquehanna River on its way from Lower Augusta Township to the Hummel Station plant in Monroe Township.
The load is 204-foot long, 16-foot wide and 18-foot high load, and will require the roadway in both directions to be closed,
This is part of the new heat recovery system at the upgraded power plant.
The load traveled Route 147 south of Sunbury to South Second Street in Sunbury, then cross the Susquehanna river via the Veterans Memorial Bridge then travel south on Route 11 & 15 to reach its final destination just off of North Old Trail Road in Shamokin Dam.
The started around 22:00 and will end when the trucks return to the rail yard around 03:00
The bridge will need to be be inspected once the loads have crossed.
Pen Dot had to issues special permission so this load could be moved at night.
