Camp Pendleton North, United States - September 10, 2025 On September 10, 2025, U.S. Marines from the 1st Distribution Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, took to the skies for parachute operations at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. The jumps were conducted with direct support from a Royal Canadian Air Force CC-130H Hercules tactical airlifter. The aircraft carried the Marines to altitude, where they executed tactical and technical parachute maneuvers. The exercises emphasized airborne proficiency, jumpmaster skills, and precision landings. Marines demonstrated coordinated exits from the aircraft and safe descents, highlighting the teamwork and training required for airborne operations. Officials said the training also strengthens interoperability between U.S. and Canadian forces, preparing the units for future joint operations.
