Police are clearing the overgrown garden of a boarded up house after receiving a tip that a body may be buried there.
Officers have spent this morning and yesterday working at the vacant house following the report.
A family was living inside the home in Knowsley Crescent, Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancs., until around two months ago, when it was vacated, a neighbour said.
A blue tent and a large blind have been erected in the home's front garden, while one neighbour said a tent is also being put up in the back garden.
