Gaza - September 30, 2025 Lt. Gen. Ayal Zamir conducted a field tour in the Gaza Strip (Tuesday) alongside Southern Command Chief Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor, Military Advocate General Maj. Gen. Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, Division 162 Commander Brig. Gen. Shagiv Dahan, and other brigade commanders. Meetings with commanders and fighters included an operational assessment and praise for forces’ actions in Operation “Gideon’s Chariots B.” Instruction was given on combat patterns for the coming days, with emphasis on continuing intense operations, providing strong protection for forces, and increasing vigilance, readiness, and alertness. The Chief of Staff stressed that operations are carried out responsibly and professionally in light of the campaign’s objectives and highlighted the need to ensure all required resources to achieve goals: the return of hostages, the defeat of Hamas, and intensified strikes on its capabilities. A call was made to maintain patience and preparedness for further developments.
